Beginning in the fall of 2104, only previous scholarship recipients were eligible to apply for funding from Sara’s Wish Foundation. One or two previous recipients received awards each year, with amounts ranging from $1000 to $15,000. These awards were given for sustained, substantial humanitarian work in the global community.

[Note: As of January 2025, the Global Humanitarian Award is no longer being offered by Sara’s Wish Foundation. Instead, we are focusing our scholarship funding on our new endowment established at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. This fund is earmarked for highly qualified students who wish to study abroad.]
